Saga has many amusement spots that have been established and designed in conjunction with the natural environment. Refresh yourself by having fun at Hizen Yume Kaido where you feel as if you have slipped back in time or conversely the futuristic Saga Prefecture Space Science Center.

[A] Hizen Yume Kaido (Ureshino City Ureshino Town)

Towns and streets of the Edo period are fully recreated at the Hizen Yume Kaido.
Once you pass a checkpoint gate, you will find a lot of famous stars of the period dramas such as Mito-Komon (the Load of Mito clan) or Ninjas as well as princesses and samurais. One of the most popular attractions is the "Ninja Show". There are souvenir shops and restaurants. This is a history-themed park, which families and couples can enjoy.

[B] Golf (throughout Saga Prefecture)

Saga has many golf courses, which take full advantage of the natural beauty of Saga's mountains and riversides. Enjoy your holiday by playing golf to your heart's content in the stunning, natural surroundings.

[C] Saga Prefecture Space Science Center (Takeo City)

The Saga Prefecture Space Science Center offers an opportunity for visitors to learn science with interest and fun. The exhibition is divided into five zones: the "Discover the Space Zone" fostering dreams and fantasies about space, the "Discover the Earth Zone" inspiring interest in the wonders of science, the "Discover Saga Zone" introducing the various natural ecosystems of Saga, the "Science Toy Box "offering experiences of mysterious phenomenon, and the "Children's Square" making children familiar with science through play.

[D] Kurosawa Akira Memorial Satellite Studio (Imari City)

This is a satellite studio of the late Kurosawa Akira, a world famous movie director of the 20th century, who directed numerous masterpieces such as "Sanshiro Sugata", "Rashomon", "Seven Samurai", "Kagemusha", "Ran" and "Dreams". The studio introduces the great achievements of the world renowned Kurosawa, who won the Special Award (Best Foreign Film Award) of the Academy Awards, the Golden Lion Grand-Prix of the Venice International Film Festival and the Special Honorary Award of the 62nd Annual Academy Awards in 1990, only the third time this prize had been awarded.

[E] Tenzan Ski Resort (Fuji Town, Saga City)

This is the only artificial ski resort in Saga Prefecture, popular among skiers in north Kyushu. Ice crushers that make snow, regardless of temperatures, were introduced and they are running at full speed during the ski season. Many visitors to Tenzan also enjoy snowboarding. In summer, grass skiing, mountain biking and mountain boarding are popular. Equipped with a 50-m swimming pool and golf courses, this is a resort facility to be enjoyed throughout the year.
