Domestic Access

Saga Prefecture is the transportation hub for northern Kyushu. By land, it takes only about one hour from the Fukuoka area to Saga via the Trans-Kyushu Expressway and Nagasaki Expressway, or about two hours from the Nagasaki area.
By taking limited express trains on the JR Nagasaki Line, it takes only about 40 minutes from Hakata Station to Saga Station, or about an hour and a half from Nagasaki.
By air, there are direct flights from Tokyo and Osaka to Ariake - Saga Airport.
